The short answer is no! We want any LGBTQ+ serving or owned business or organization in the Denver-metro area to feel like they are part of the district.
The longer answer is that while the Lavender Hill Cultural District is primarily a placemaking effort that has a district core where projects are focused, the influence of the Queer community in Denver and Colorado extends well beyond those boundaries. We recognize the district’s roots in Capitol Hill’s history as the Gayborhood, as well as the community’s greater influence on the city and state today, and therefore extend membership, inclusion, and belonging to anyone or any business in the LGBTQ+ community in Colorado. -
No, individuals are welcome to support the district as members from anywhere in the world.

You do not have to be a member to attend events, sign up for our newsletter, participate in projects, or contribute to events.
That being said, we encourage you to become a member to receive first access to news, information, merch, events, and more!
Member businesses and organizations will be given first access to participate in events as vendors and/or sponsors.

Yes, you can cancel your membership any time, but we will be sad to see you go. If you are interested in making a one time gift, visit our donations page.
